What to Do About My Purse?

My purse is falling apart again.  They never last long.  Should I repair it (it's leather but for some reason they made the handle out of cheap fabric)?

Should I buy the $350 purse I tried on today in the Coach store across the street from where I work (it's so well made - and my birthday's coming up!)?
or should I create something completely me (who knows how long it will take or whether it will turn out okay)?

Gwyneth thinks you should stitch your old purse. Donovan thinks I should send you $350 so you can buy the purse at the Coach store. After all it's your birthday. I think a side pocket for car keys is essential.
Happy Birthday Diana!

bring The Red Purse to a trusty shoemaker to reinforce with leather. (Maya Shoe Repair on Ocean Park in Santa Monica is a genius)...

...while you make a custom bag of your own. I'd love to see that!

Turn away from the $350 purse and run. Continue.

I say, treat yourself to the purse if you like it, and have a happy birthday. You can also Goodwill the old bag or have it fixed.
